About EnterhealthEnterhealth is a leader in behavioral health and integrative medicine, providing comprehensive care for substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring medical needs. Our approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with whole-person wellness and recovery support to improve outcomes and sustain long-term healing.We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Psychiatrist to join our outpatient team and support individuals navigating mental health and substance use recovery. CONTRACT: 30 Hours per week. Immediate.Position OverviewThe Outpatient Psychiatrist provides diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric care for adults with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. This role works closely with therapists, medical providers, and care coordinators to ensure continuity of care and support recovery-focused treatment.This position is ideal for a physician who values collaborative care, patient-centered treatment, and a balanced outpatient schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesPsychiatric Evaluation & Treatment Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with recovery goals Provide medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness Manage co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders Collaborative Care Partner with therapists, case managers, and medical providers to coordinate care Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning Provide clinical guidance to care teams as appropriate Patient Safety & Quality Care Monitor risk factors and provide crisis intervention when needed Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical documentation standards Support continuity of care and transitions between levels of treatment QualificationsRequired: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry Active Texas medical license (or eligibility) DEA registration with Texas prescriptive authority Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and co-occurring conditions Preferred: Experience in addiction medicine or substance use treatment Experience in outpatient or intensive outpatient settings Interest in integrative or holistic approaches to mental health care Work Environment & Schedule Outpatient 30 Hours Per Week; Contract
