Maintenance Technician

Growing sheet metal manufacturer seeking a Plant Maintenance Specialist to handle day to day maintenance responsibilities of equipment and facilities. Candidate should have strong organizational and time management skills. Candidate should be able to communicate with a variety of people including machine operators, outside maintenance technicians, department supervisors and company management. Responsibilities: • Must have working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems of manufacturing equipment as well as facilities systems. • Schedule and assist service engineers from various equipment manufactures with preventative maintenance as well as break down situations. • Maintain inventory of spare parts for equipment in order to minimize down time situations. • Frequently inspect equipment and facilities to proactively detect potential problems and recommend the necessary repair or replacement. • Be able to lift 75 pounds. Hours / Compensation Normal work hours are 6:30 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday. Additional hours may be required on a case-by-case basis if a machine is down. This is a salaried position with an expected range of 50K-70K per year based on experience.
