Senior Buyer

Position Title: Buyer, Senior Work Location: St. Paul, MN 55117 Assignment Duration: 12 Months Work Arrangement: HybridPosition Summary: Working without appreciable direction, purchases raw materials, sub-assemblies, finished goods products in conformance with approved purchase orders at the lowest cost consistent with considerations for quality, reliability of source and urgency of need. Provides support for all basic aspects of purchasing including but not limited to vendor negotiations, vendor analysis, cost reductions, utilization of the purchasing system, expedition of orders and vendor relations, inventory management.Key Responsibilities:Working without appreciable direction, purchases raw materials, sub-assemblies, finished goods products in conformance with approved purchase orders at the lowest cost consistent with considerations for quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.Provides support for all basic aspects of purchasing including but not limited to vendor negotiations, vendor analysis, cost reductions, utilization of the purchasing system, expedition of orders and vendor relations, inventory management.Works to allocate finished product to support global stocking levels and direct customer orders.Purchasing experience required Buyer/Planner Hybrid Production Planning experience nice to have 5+ years experience required Bachelor's Degree Preferred - combination of education and experience okay, but would need degree if converted
