JOB TITLE: Startup Operations Analyst III (Part-Time) LOCATION: San Francisco, CA DURATION: 7 months PAY RANGE: $73 - $83/hr. SCHEDULE: 15 hours/week, 5 hours/day TOP 3 SKILLS: 3-5 years of experience in business metric tracking, analytics, and reporting, with the ability to consolidate and interpret data across programs and cohorts. Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau, G-Suite, and startup reporting tools like Crunchbase or Harmonic; capable of building dashboards, ETL pipelines, and real-time reporting. Strong skills in automating data workflows, managing lead datasets, implementing data governance, and ensuring high-quality, actionable insights for cross-functional teams. About the Role: This role will centralize ownership of all startup-related data and analytics, automating data flows and building robust, real-time dashboards and reporting tools as well as integration into wider company reporting methods, that provide ongoing, actionable insights across the entire startup journey. This role will enhance transparency into VC partner funding, penetration, and engagement-an area never previously reported on but a critical OKR for 2026. Beyond initial dashboard, process and prospecting setup, they will continuously monitor program health, refine analytics models, lead regular data reviews and MBRs, and partner closely with sales, marketing, product, and partner teams to translate data into strategic growth initiatives. Additionally, they will oversee lead management and data integration workflows, ensuring high-quality prospect data and event leads feeding into the Sales Acceleration team and marketing automation platforms for timely and targeted outreach. Key Responsibilities: Own end-to-end startup program analytics, consolidating application-to-graduation metrics across all cohorts and segments. Design and maintain cohort-based lifecycle models tracking application, activation, product usage, PLG engagement, conversion, and graduation. Automate data ingestion and ETL pipelines (internal + external sources like Crunchbase/CB Insights) to provide timely, reliable datasets. Build and operate real-time dashboards and reports integrated with company-wide BI and reporting frameworks. Create the first-of-its-kind VC partner reporting: funding, penetration, engagement, and contribution to startup outcomes (2026 OKR focus). Generate and maintain prospecting lists and high-quality lead datasets for Sales Acceleration and marketing automation. Implement lead management and data-integration workflows to ensure event and program leads feed timely into sales/marketing systems. Monitor program health continuously, refine analytics models, and surface actionable signals to reduce churn and improve graduation rates. Lead regular data reviews and feed in to monthly business reviews (MBRs), translating insights with the Snr Manager into strategic initiatives with sales, product, marketing, and partners. Establish data governance, quality checks, and documentation to eliminate manual reconciliation, prevent errors, and speed decision-making. Migration of data from existing tools to new tools which support the SUP. Perform deep-dive data analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the SUP. Collaboration with Data Science: Work closely with data science and BI teams to validate models, interpret analytics outcomes, and translate insights into operational improvements. Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in Business metric and analytics reporting Familiarity with Zendesk or similar customer support and ticketing platforms Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau and G-Suite connections Familiar with Startup reporting tools such as - Crunchbase and Harmonic Business reporting and analytics experience Nice to have: Experience with Zendesk (or similar ticketing/customer support tool) Experience with Slack (community engagement) Experience with Airtable, AI Automation tools (e.g Workato) Ability to communicate in verbal and written English BENEFITS SUMMARY: Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
