Job Description

Application and Design Programmer Duties and Responsibilities: Design, develop, install and support of information technology (IT) applications, including but not limited to custom applications, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, IoT device applications, social media, content management (CMS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other IT platforms. Design and develop user interfaces, application programming interfaces (API), web designs, and functional/technical designs. Perform application configuration and migration implementation. Develop and execute test plans. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Perform business and systems analysis to facilitate and coordinate the development of technology solutions to meet departmental business and operational requirements and evaluate technology alternatives. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from recognized four-year college or university; course work in information systems, computer engineering, or computer science may also be required. Minimum of two or more years of full-time paid experience in one or more specific technical areas is required Must have one or more years of full-time paid experience in the operation of distributed business applications with multiple media storage devices and a teleprocessing network or in the processing and controlling of computer-based information systems.
