MDS Coordinator (RN / LPN) - No Weekends or On-Call

Overview: The ideal MDS Coordinator is detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, while actively engaging with residents and families. Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as laws and guidelines pertaining to long-term care, is essential. Why Join Us? How You Will Make a Difference: Collect information to complete the MDS using medical records, bedside assessments, and interviews with staff, residents, and families. Participate in daily PPS meetings, weekly Medicare meetings, and month-end meetings to ensure federal billing compliance. Update the Plan of Care quarterly and during each Comprehensive Assessment. Provide ongoing education on the RAI process to interdisciplinary team members, caregivers, and the business office, sharing updates as appropriate. What You Need to Make a Difference: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably long-term care.
