Introduction in cooperation with Spartanburg Community College is assisting with the recruitment and training for NIAGARA PHARMACEUTICALS LLC Niagara Pharmaceuticals, LLC is a North American company specializing in the development, manufacturing and distribution of eye health and safety products. Niagara Pharmaceuticals LLC is a family-oriented company starting a new manufacturing facility in Cherokee County. Niagara Pharmaceuticals is looking for motivated and qualified individuals who are interested in joining the company right from the start at our new facility in Cowpens, SC. Potential employment opportunities exist for: QA Assistant This position reports to the QA Manager Job Duties: In process inspection during production Pre- and post-finished product inspection reports Pre and Post Line Clearance daily Verification of skid counts on the Packaging Work Record daily Ensuring the quality of the product is maintained during production. Providing labels and irradiation dots to production per the Packaging Work Record Ensuring that the production personnel are following proper gowning and cleaning procedures as per GMP and SOPs Obtain QA and retain samples as required during production Placement and logging of QA retain samples in QA retain rooms Perform Packaging material inspection up receipt Batch and water sampling Inspection and release of raw materials and components Other relevant QA duties as assigned Knowledge of SOPs and ability to function according to SOPs Experience Required: Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or a related science from a recognized post-secondary institution Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Technical Services and/or Production. Experience Required: Excellent decision-making skills Ability to effectively communicate Safety oriented Record keeping and organization skills Compensation and Hours: Shift Hours: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday Climate Controlled Work Environment Niagara Pharmaceuticals offers a competitive benefits package including...
