Job DescriptionSummaryThe Automotive Detailer will be responsible for meticulously cleaning, detailing, and preparing new and used vehicles for display and delivery.Duties and Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles, including interior and exterior surfacesSafely operate carwash equipment and ensure all vehicles are properly washed and driedVacuum, shampoo, and steam clean vehicle interiors to restore their pristine conditionClean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate chemicals and cleaning agentsApply protective coatings and polishes to enhance the vehicles’ appearance and protected surfacesApply paint to chipped body surfaces using touch-up paintClean engine and engine compartments with steam-cleaning equipment and cleaning agents to remove grease and grimePerform a meticulous inspection to identify and address any imperfections or areas requiring attention Qualifications: QualificationsRequired Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and passion for achieving resultsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standardsPhysical stamina to handle the demands of detailing work, including, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periodsMust be authorized to work in the USAMust be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have Experience) Previous experience as a detailer or carwash specialist in an automotive setting is preferredBasic understanding of vehicle surfaces and materials to choose appropriate cleaning methods is preferred Additional Information(The Detailer Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.
