Electrical Engineer

Pay Rate: $79.88 Manage complex projects impacting operations Design solutions, troubleshoot issues, and drive innovation Lead small teams and collaborate across disciplines Deliver clear presentations to stakeholders Balance technical depth with project leadership Responsibilities: Design, implement, and optimize electrical systems and power distribution networks Integrate advanced technologies for improved system performance and cost reduction Implement safety measures to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability Provide expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts Participate in engineering projects from concept to completion Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions Other duties as assigned Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology with a P.E. license Four years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.) Required Skills: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Safety as a main priority Experience reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements Preferred Skills: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) licensure Experience with PLCs and project management Experience in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or EPC of small to medium facility projects Supports designing and implementing Instrumentation systems, including PLCs and HMIs Knowledge in power system design, analysis, and simulation tools (e.g., ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD, Simulink) Knowledge of high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgear Understanding of grid integration and renewable energy systems Experience in procurement processes for electrical equipment and materials Experience with commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical equipment
