RN / LPN Pediatric Private Duty Nursing Family First Homecare (FFHC) is hiring compassionate and dependable RNs and LPNs to provide high-quality, one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing in the home. Position Summary The RN/LPN provides skilled, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes while complying with FFHC policies, State Nurse Practice Acts, and all applicable state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care within scope of licensure (RN or LPN) Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Monitor and evaluate patient response to care Communicate changes in patient condition to physician and nurse supervisor Educate patients and caregivers on care needs Participate in QAPI activities as requested Support and mentor team members during patient-specific orientations Maintain patient and family confidentiality Adhere to compliance, ethics, and safety standards Attend required trainings and in-services Maintain professional and effective communication Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Required Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in state of employment (Compact license accepted where applicable) New grads welcome training provided Valid CPR (in-person, instructor-led skills check) Knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts Clear background screening Valid driver's license and insurance (where applicable) TB screening (state-specific) Hep B screening (state-specific) Preferred Pediatric or homecare experience (not required) Florida Background screening through FL Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse (role dependent) Key Competencies Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Compassionate, patient-focused approach Dependability and professionalism Working Conditions Care provided in patient homes Training may occur in office setting Ability to lift up to 35 lbs without assistance Frequent use of phone, computer, and standard office equipment Schedule & Work Details Travel to patient homes required 12-hour shifts available Overnight shifts available Schedule may include weekdays and/or weekends Shift lengths may vary (8, 10, or 12 hrs) Family First Homecare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
