Position Type: Secretarial/Clerical/Secretary Date Posted: 2/26/2026 Location: Educational Technology Center Date Available: 04/06/2026 Closing Date: Open until filled POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant - Educational Technology Center (ETC) EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time 12 month position FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt REPORTS TO: Director of Technology Services JOB GOAL: Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the technology department by providing high-level administrative and clerical support. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or GED equivalent. 2. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 3. Excellent customer service skills which includes willingness to help staff, troubleshoot, and problem-solve. 4. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board of education may find appropriate and acceptable. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Provide administrative assistant support for the director of technology. 2. Contact vendors for quotes, product information, and schedule services. 3. Manage quotes, purchases, projects, and vendors: a. Responsible for purchasing, stocking, dispensing, and billing all technology purchases and supplies. b. Receive all new hardware, software, and related supplies. 4. Maintain and update inventory of district technology devices and peripherals. 5. Manage and maintain staff accounts. 6. Provide technical support to walk-in staff and call-in requests. 7. Manage and respond to Help Desk tickets related to assigned responsibilities. 8. Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues. 9. Assist as needed in the Copy Center. 10. Regular onsite attendance. 11. Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding student and staff information in order to remain in compliance with legal requirements and to maintain a professional work environment. 12. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the director of technology service for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be established by the board of education. EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the board's policy on evaluation of classified personnel.
