Posted Date 05/24/2024 Salary Range: $142100 - 348100 Annually Employment Type 1 - Staff: Contract Duration Limited Job # 16722 Primary Duties and Responsibilities Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Our Head and Neck Surgery department is seeking a general otolaryngologist to join our dynamic team in providing world class clinical care across the UCLA Head and Neck Surgery Community clinics. The surgeon will manage patients with general otolaryngology complaints and clinical diagnosis, as assigned by the department Chair. The ideal candidate will have expertise in treating all general Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery conditions in office and operating room settings. A majority of the surgical cases will be provided at local Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs); with minority of surgical cases provided al local hospitals. ASCs are open five (5) days a week and may include some evening or weekend schedules. The Staff physician, Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery will complete patient documentation on time and deliver evidence-based care in a compassionate and personalized manner. Call coverage, as needed. The University of California, Los Angeles is required to provide an estimate of the salary range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Salary offers are determined based on candidate qualifications and experience. The target total compensation for this position is 250,000.00-999,000.00. Board Eligible candidates must complete their boards within 1 year of training completion. Must maintain good working relationships with UCLA Health System partners and support staff. Must travel between UCLA Head and Neck Surgery Community Clinics, as needed. Must hold a CA license As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
