Position Overview One of our Partners in Washington State is seeking a locum tenens Nurse Practitioner with Electrophysiology (EP) experience to support its Cardiology Clinic in Bellingham, Washington. This is a Monday-Friday, daytime assignment with no call, offering a predictable schedule and strong work-life balance. Based on current 2025-2026 locum tenens market data for NP cardiology/electrophysiology outpatient coverage, the provider pay for this assignment ranks in the Top 20% nationally for comparable EP NP locum roles. Assignment Highlights Start Date: March 9, 2026 End Date: September 5, 2026 Duration: 26 weeks Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Shift Length: 8 hours Call: None Setting: Cardiology Clinic with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Patient Population: Adults Average Volume: 14-16 patients per day Coverage Model: Provider may work independently at times EMR: Epic Facility Type: Outpatient clinic with hospital privileges Hospital Size: 250 beds Reason for Coverage: Gap in schedule / urgent fast-track need Job Responsibilities Provide advanced practice care for adult cardiology patients with a focus on electrophysiologyConduct outpatient clinic visits and support inpatient rounding and admissions as needed Evaluate, diagnose, and manage cardiac rhythm disorders Review diagnostics, labs, and cardiac studies Collaborate with cardiologists and clinic staff to coordinate care plans Practice independently while collaborating with the cardiology team Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic Skills & Experience Electrophysiology-focused cardiology experience required Comfortable managing a full clinic schedule and practicing independently Experience in both outpatient cardiology clinics and inpatient settings preferred Qualifications Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)Board Certified in Cardiology and/or Electrophysiology Active Washington State license required (IMLC not accepted) DEA (Washington) required at time of presentation BLS and ACLS requiredClinical Experience Requirement: Minimum of 12 months of clinical practice within the ARNP area of specialization within the past five (5) years, orGraduation from an accredited program within the past twelve (12) months
