Job Opportunity - Obstetrics and Gynecology - CaliforniaStart Date: ASAP Location: California Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants Schedule: 3.5 days per week patient-facing clinic (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), plus 1 OR day per week. Hospital call coverage 5 days per month. Approximately 16 patient encounters per clinic shift. Highlights:Permanent placement opportunity with comprehensive OB/GYN practice including clinic and surgical services Full-spectrum care including low and high-risk pregnancy management, routine and complicated deliveries, and office-based gynecology procedures Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days; candidates with pending California licensure encouraged to apply Trauma Level 1 facility with robust obstetric volume and surgical capabilities Balanced schedule with dedicated OR time and manageable call rotation Required procedures include Nexplanon insertion and pessary fitting Requirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology California medical license (or application in progress) Fellowship training preferred Comprehensive OB skills: low and high-risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds (Level I and II), routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs Surgical gynecology experience required: open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and operative/major procedures Proficiency in office-based gynecology including IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP Ability to repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Why It's a Fit: This permanent opportunity offers a well-rounded OB/GYN practice with an excellent balance of clinic, surgical, and obstetric care at a high-acuity facility.
