We also have another Dr on staff, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Front Desk. We are located extremely close to Advent Health Orlando South. We have an Orlando address but pretty much located in Winter Park. Job Duties: Keep in mind, this is an infectious disease practice. They see all types of patients with compromised immune systems. Need to be kind, understanding, empathetic. Do not send anyone that sounds rough on the phone. Position is 5 days a week - Tues/Wed/Fri patients are in office. Mon/Thurs are admin work days in office with no patients Greet Patients (average about 25 patients per week) Scan ID and Insurance Cards Handle Multiline Telephone System Schedule Appointments Knowledge of IN (in network) and OON (out of network) Benefits Verify Insurances Obtain out of network referrals/authorizations for OV (outpatient medical services) Handle Medical Records Requests Provide clerical support including filing and faxing Utilize EHR Experience in Availity, EPIC, and a plus if experience in EClinicalWorks or Intergy - please list EMR they have used on the resume Compensation: $19/hr - we cannot pay above internal rates. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am - 5 pm with a 12pm - 1pm lunch. No overtime. Estimated Start Date: ASAP! Interview Process: Onsite with Jana Traxler, Practice Manager Minimum Requirements 2+ years Medical Receptionist experience No jumpy candidates Strong insurance verification experience especially with out of network Experience with EOB Strong experience with out of network referrals/authorizations for OV (outpatient medical services) Experience in Availity, EPIC, EClinicalWorks or Intergy (please add to resume) Experience answering a multiphone system Only needs OB docs and BGC.
