Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Shift: First Shift - Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Compensation: $26.25 - $36.75 per hour (based on experience) Job Type: Direct Hire About the Company • Established and growing plastics manufacturer • Specializes in precision molding and high-performance plastic components • Serves automotive, furniture, and consumer product industries • Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement • Modern facility with ongoing investment in equipment and technology Position Overview • Maintain and repair production and facility equipment to ensure maximum uptime • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines • Contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and reliability Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities • Document maintenance work, inspections, and parts usage in CMMS • Assist with PLC adjustments and basic programming as needed • Conduct root cause analysis to reduce repeat equipment failures • Maintain plant utilities including compressed air systems and lighting • Support engineering and production teams with upgrades and tooling changes • Maintain organized and safe maintenance work areas Qualifications • Strong background in industrial electrical and pneumatic systems • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment preferred • Multi-craft experience in plastics, injection molding, blow molding, or automotive manufacturing highly desirable • Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics • Stable work history in industrial maintenance environments Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift throughout shift • Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Benefits • Competitive hourly compensation • PTO • 401(k) with company match • Comprehensive healthcare coverage • Career advancement opportunities
