Certified Surgical Technologist - CST

Day, 2(12)-hour shifts. Must be available for call as needed. Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager and/or the Administrative Director within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, responsible for performing a variety of duties related to scrubbing for Cesarean-Sections, planning, preparing and maintaining surgical instrumentation and surgical field peri-operatively and intra-operatively. Post-operatively responsible for room and instrument decontamination; stocking the OR, LDRs, Nursery, and Postpartum Rooms, as well as, routinely removing all outdated supplies and forms. Responsible for performing a variety of direct and non-direct patient care duties, including clerical, supply and messenger responsibilities.
