They assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient behavior, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. BHTs work closely with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help patients develop coping skills and achieve their treatment goals. Responsibilities may include observing and documenting patient progress, leading therapeutic activities, de-escalating crisis situations, and providing emotional support.
