Title: Date Engineer Location: Leawood, Kansas Hybrid ( 3 days onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Job Description Senior Quality Engineer / Test Architect with 12-15 years of experience for the Data Engineering Platform with Data pipeline, serving as a senior individual contributor responsible for defining and driving the quality strategy for Snowflake-based data platforms and large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines. The role requires deep expertise in data testing, automation architecture, governance, and solving complex data issues. The Senior QE builds automated data validation frameworks, implements shift-left testing, ensures data accuracy, and drives performance, reliability, and observability. The role works with data engineers and architects, enforces best practices, mentors QE members, and ensures compliance with data protection standards. Skills include strong SQL for profiling and validation, deep knowledge of Data Warehousing and ETL/ELT, hands-on Python for automation, expertise in Snowflake and SQL Server, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and solid understanding of Agile, CI/CD, Soda , Coalesce and QE processes.
