Job Title: Resident Project RepresentativefThis is a full-time opportunity for a Resident Project Representative, primarily focusing on two main projects located in Greenville, Millersport, and Ashville, OH. The position is contracted for 12 months with potential for direct hire afterward. Short-term contracting candidates are welcome for the Ashville project, with an expected duration of 5-6 months as we seek candidates open to full-time employment.Responsibilities Collect, maintain, and organize construction documentation. Travel to construction project sites to review worksite compliance with engineering plans and specifications. Maintain strong client relationships as the company's representative on the project site. Maintain strong relationships and communication with contractors and subcontractors. Verify design plan accuracy in the field. Consult with contractors and clients regarding construction practices, construction reports, and engineering designs. Review changes in construction and materials specifications due to developments occurring during project construction with the Project Manager or Project Engineer. Complete daily logs of work progression. Review waterline blueprints to communicate effectively with general contractors and civil counterparts on the job site. Report project issues and propose solutions. Essential Skills Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Engineering-related program, or equivalent industry experience. 2+ years of inspection experience for local municipalities, water resources, or sewer projects. Knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, procedures, and principles. Willingness to travel to job sites or stay overnight weekly in Greenville, OH, and Ashville, OH. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in construction inspection, construction services, and water resources. Work EnvironmentThe job is performed in various settings, including office environments, job site offices, and construction sites, with no roadway or bridge projects involved. Contractors have the option to drive to and from the site daily, with mileage reimbursed, or they may expense a hotel room. Meals are reimbursed up to a specified dollar amount. The work includes both outdoor and indoor conditions, with travel required to potential worksites in Ashville, OH, and Millersport, OH.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Ashville, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
