Position Type: Maintenance/Custodial/Grounds Worker Date Posted: 2/27/2026 Location: Splendora ISD Maintenance Primary Purpose: Maintain and provide safe and attractive grounds for the district athletic facilities. Maintain and prepare of athletic fields for games. Qualification: High School Diploma or GED Valid Texas Driver's License Experience: Minimum of 2 years Special Knowledge/Skills: Self motivated ability to read and understand written instructions. Ability to communicate (verbally). Ability to operate tractor and landscaping equipment. Ability to operate riding power mower, power tools,hand tools and paint sprayer. General Building Maintenance Fieldhouse Maintenance (Light Plumbing, Lights/Electrical) HVAC Light Grounds Equipment Maintenance Power Washing Painting Parking Lot/Road Maintenance Other Information: The District contributes $330 monthly to the cost of the employee-only health insurance which is $105 monthly greater than the state required amount of $225/monthly.
