This role combines estimating, project management, and sales responsibilities, overseeing electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical field knowledge, proven estimating experience, and the ability to manage customer relationships while delivering profitable, high-quality projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and manage electrical construction projects from concept through completion Prepare detailed electrical estimates, proposals, and bids for commercial and industrial projects Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers Conduct job walks and site visits to inspect quality, progress, and safety compliance Monitor project performance and adjust schedules or budgets as needed Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability Utilize estimating and project management software, including Accubid and Bluebeam Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, Life Safety Codes, and company safety policies Maintain clear, professional communication with customers, vendors, field teams, and management Participate in bi-weekly job-site safety meetings and safety training Support staffing coordination and workload distribution across active projects Maintain and grow new and existing construction accounts Assist the Construction Department Manager with job walks and account management Actively pursue new business opportunities and maintain customer relationships Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License required Valid Texas driver's license Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical estimating and/or project management Proven experience managing electrical construction projects from bid through closeout Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, and best practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, Life Safety Codes, Uniform Building Codes, and lighting systems Experience with electrical permits, maintenance standards, and facility applications Proficiency with estimating and project management software (Accubid and Bluebeam preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Compensation & Benefits $75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Weekly pay cycle Health & Wellness Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance options Wellness programs Safety equipment provided Career Development & Perks Paid training and certifications Company-issued tech package (smartphone or tablet) Company vehicle Paid time off (holidays, and vacation) Company events, rewards, and employee prizes Work Schedule Full-Time Monday - Friday Potential Travel projects with per diem / travel pay support Work Location On-site Corporate office located in Wylie, Texas Project sites throughout the DFW metro area Equal Employment Opportunity We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
