Job Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 32-bed Level III NICU Manage care for infants from a busy newborn nursery service Support approximately 4,000 annual deliveries Work alongside 2 Neonatologists and 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners during daytime hours Participate in home-based night call, supported by 24/7 in-house NNP coverage Perform and maintain hands-on neonatal procedures Collaborate within a supportive, team-oriented, collegial practice environment Participate in mentorship and professional development, especially for new graduates Deliver high-quality, compassionate neonatal care aligned with hospital standards This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residence within the local area Qualifications: Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatal Perinatal Clean malpractice/license history (highly preferred) Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - required at presentation DEA must be obtained prior to start - required License and Certification Requirements: Kentucky Medical License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED Permanent Placement Fee - REQUIRED Visa Support: J1 or H1B support (note if required) Discover the vibrant culture and rich history of Lexington, Kentucky!
