# Events Co-OrdinatorThis role forms part of the events and food & beverage team at Pezula Nature Retreat, within the Village n Life hospitality group.The RoleAs Events Co-Ordinator youll support the Events Manager in developing and delivering events, groups and banqueting operations. Youll assist with planning, sales, reporting and coordination, ensuring service standards are met across events, dining and group bookings.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with product development, budgets and sales targets for events and groups Act as first point of contact in the absence of the Events Manager Support food & beverage operations including dining room setup and service levels Coordinate with service, kitchen and front office teams on reservations and special events Prepare reports, maintain records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards Manage relationships with external suppliers and internal teams Provide booking support for hotel facilities and activities Monitor industry trends and recommend improvements Handle guest needs, complaints and requests promptly Schedule staff hours, assist with recruitment, training and performance appraisalsWhat Were Looking ForGrade 12 and a relevant events qualification Diploma or degree in hospitality or project management advantageous 23 years experience in a similar industry Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail A collaborative leader with guest-centred service focusWhat We OfferA dynamic role at Pezula Nature Retreat in Knysna Growth and training opportunities within Village n Life Staff housing options and access to staff facilities Competitive package aligned with experienceJob Categories:Job Types:Experience Levels:Job Locations:Job Properties:## Apply for this position #J-18808-Ljbffr
