Clean Energy Contracts Manager

Join Meta's Global Energy Team as a Clean Energy Contracts Manager, where you will play a vital role in advancing our commitment to renewable energy and carbon reduction initiatives. In this dynamic position, you will manage an extensive portfolio of clean energy contracts throughout all project phases—from construction and development to operation. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring contract compliance, supporting negotiations, monitoring project statuses, and enforcing key contract terms. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary owner for all executed renewable energy contract requirements at Meta. Develop, maintain, and track essential documents and data related to renewable energy projects. Monitor counterparties' compliance with contract milestones and project deliverables. Review invoicing and reporting for renewable energy contracts, ensuring alignment with RECs, costs, and performance metrics. Address counterparty inquiries and manage amendments, collateral, and force majeure claims as needed. Oversee the approval and signature processes for all contract documents post-execution. Identify and resolve issues in existing contracts and project operations. Collaborate with legal counsel, finance, accounting, procurement, and other crucial stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, energy or environmental science, paralegal studies, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in an electric utility, energy supplier, project developer, or energy-intensive company. Proven experience managing renewable energy project portfolios and understanding performance metrics. Strong communication skills and a track record of developing partnerships with various stakeholders. Proficient with G-Suite, Salesforce, and AI tools. Skilled in building cross-functional relationships. Adept at analyzing and interpreting energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.
