We are on the lookout for a skilled Preconstruction Manager to drive our semiconductor and electronics division's strategic growth. In this influential role, you will play a pivotal part in planning and executing intricate projects in the advanced technology sector. As the Preconstruction Manager, you will be at the helm of the initial planning and development stages of significant capital projects. Collaborating closely with our internal teams and external partners, you will create schedules, develop estimates, conduct constructability reviews, and ensure meticulous planning of essential deliverables that empower our clients to achieve reliable project benchmarks. You will foster collaborative partnerships with clients, general contractors, and design teams throughout all phases of preconstruction. Additionally, you will be integral in incorporating Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) strategies into our preconstruction practices, shaping the design delivery and execution processes. Location: Preferred office locations include Albany, NY; Portland, OR; Phoenix, AZ; or Pittsburgh, PA. Remote or hybrid candidates located in North America will also be considered. Key Responsibilities: Lead preconstruction planning efforts for advanced technology facilities. Collaborate across design teams, clients, and construction partners to craft exceptional planning and execution deliverables. Prepare and review schedules, cost estimates, and constructability analyses. Provide insights and spearhead engineering option evaluations and value engineering opportunities. Support the implementation and growth of Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) strategies within preconstruction workflows, identifying opportunities, assessing feasibility, and formulating execution plans for program integration. Act as a strategic liaison between design and execution teams to ensure alignment with client expectations and project criteria. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a construction-related field. A minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in Advanced Technology Facility projects (semiconductor, data center, life sciences) in roles such as project engineer or project manager. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities. Hands-on knowledge of Off-Site Manufacturing methodologies. A proven track record in preconstruction planning and execution. Adept in team collaboration, especially in multidisciplinary environments. A forward-thinking approach with a passion for continuous learning and applying industry best practices. Ideally, you will also have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling. Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA®) certification. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Familiarity with Project Management Institute (PMI) principles.
