One customer, one family, one community at a time.   ABOUT THIS ROLE     We are seeking a highly skilled Senior API Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure APIs that power our enterprise applications and services. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in API architecture, integration patterns, and modern development practices, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and security. Key Responsibilities Design & Development: Architect and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for internal and external consumption. Ensure APIs are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to best practices. Integration & Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, architects, and other engineering teams to deliver seamless integrations. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of API services. Performance & Security: Optimize API performance and reliability through caching, load balancing, and efficient data handling. Implement robust authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms. Documentation & Standards: Maintain comprehensive API documentation and enforce coding standards. Advocate for API-first design principles across the organization. Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in API development and integration.
