This role is essential in providing comprehensive care to patients of our Lung Program, ensuring coordinated and effective treatment plans. The Lung Navigator will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills. • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Physical Requirements: • Ability to read and assess patient needs and operate medical equipment. • Frequent verbal communication and auditory comprehension, especially in emergencies. • Manual dexterity for equipment handling and computer documentation. • Physical strength for lifting and transferring patients. • Mobility for walking, transporting patients, and navigating clinical environments. • May require prolonged standing and occasional driving. Job Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pulmonary and related medical conditions • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans • Interpret and verify diagnostic test results • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and serve as provider, advocate, educator, and counselor for patients from lung screening or abnormal finding, through diagnostic studies, diagnosis and treatment planning for lung cancer. • Perform other duties as assigned • Comply with all organizational policies and standards Qualifications Qualifications: • Active Georgia license or eligibility • Strong clinical and communication skills • Alignment with AdventHealth's mission and values Client DetailsCity Rome State GA Zip Code 30165
