Job Description Test Technician - Polaris Location: Wyoming, MN Compensation: Up to $30.00 per hour - paid weekly Schedule: Day shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00am-4:00pm (some flexibility) Job Type: Contract (6+ months with potential to extend) | Full-time About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Test Technicians for a leading powersports manufacturing company in Wyoming, MN! In this hands-on role, you'll support the Structural Testing Department by helping evaluate product durability and performance on a wide range of vehicle components. If you enjoy mechanical work, learning new equipment, and working in an engineering-focused lab environment, this could be a great fit. Read below for more information! What You'll Do as a Test Technician: Perform durability testing on components, sub-assemblies, and full vehicles Set up test fixtures and assemblies using engineering drawings and torque specifications Operate hydraulic/pneumatic actuators, electrodynamic shakers, ovens, chillers, and related lab equipment Install and operate instrumentation (temperature, load, acceleration, displacement, strain) Conduct basic data collection, processing, and test documentation Assist with fixture design, light fabrication, and equipment maintenance Monitor cyclic tests and inspect setups throughout test duration What You Need to Bring to the Test Technician Role: Experience with vehicle or system-level testing a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, twist, kneel, squat, and perform overhead reaching Basic fabrication experience (milling, drilling, welding) preferred Associate degree in a technical field preferred but not required Reliable transportation to the Wyoming, MN facility Ability to pass required screenings Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and opportunities for long-term stability when assignments extend or convert.
