Job #: 145673 Title: Quality Inspector Location: Tucson, AZ Salary Range: 0.00 Position: Quality Inspector Description: Ensure all airworthiness quality requirements are performed and documented in accordance with applicable regulations for the maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair, and alteration of aircraft, engines, and components. Inspect aircraft, engines, parts, and components using precision tools and equipment, and verify that all work packages and records are accurate and complete. Perform return-to-service inspections, walk-around checks, and regulatory compliance reviews while supporting customers with technical data as needed. Train, coach, and mentor team members to maintain high-quality standards and adherence to all safety and regulatory procedures. Requirements: #Job Details Facility Type: Part 145 Repair Station Aircraft Worked: Corporate/Business, General Aviation Job Duration: Contract to Hire Schedule: All ShiftsTools: Required #Education & Job Requirements A minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years of corporate or commercial jet experience. A&P Certification required. Ability to use a variety of measuring and basic hand tools to interpret and operate test equipment. Ability to interpret and process all relevant foreign and domestic regulatory documents and requirements. Working knowledge of FAA regulations, CAA guidance, RSM/QCM, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and TCDS. Ability to train, coach, and mentor employees in the performance of their duties.Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools. #Job Duties & Functions Adhere to General Work Requirements in coordination with Quality leadership. Conduct weighing procedures in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended practices. Obtain and secure aircraft documentation upon arrival and complete associated records. Coordinate inspection activities in compliance with computer tracking maintenance programs (e.g., CAMPS, AVTRAC). Perform inspections of aircraft, engines, parts, and components using precision tools and equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements. Inspect new, repaired, and rebuilt parts/components for physical damage, count, and conformity. Ensure all work packages, forms, and maintenance records are accurately completed, and specialized customer and regulatory paperwork (RED, RFE, SRPSA, FAA, FAR/CAA, etc.) is approved. Research aircraft drawings and technical data, including REO, ENICO, EO, and DCN. Perform walk-around inspections prior to aircraft release from maintenance. Perform return-to-service processes and ensure the assigned aircraft meets all airworthiness requirements before release.Provide data to customers as requested. #Physical Requirements & Environment Ability to work in a hangar environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
