Job Description Develop Customized Treatment Strategies: Assess patients' individual needs and create tailored therapy plans that help them achieve their functional objectives. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities. Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care. Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques to support continued progress at home. Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on track. Education Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported. Certifications Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required. Skills A genuine passion for helping others achieve their highest level of independence. Excellent, empathetic communication skills with both patients and colleagues. A creative mindset with the ability to adjust treatment plans according to diverse needs.
