Position Type: Student Support Services Date Posted: 2/23/2026 Location: Clay Academy District: Woodstock Community Unit School District 200 This is an IMRF full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year with a starting annual salary of $78,000. This position will work 180 days and will be required to work (approximately) additional 10 days for training. TITLE: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, BCBA Master's level certification required Valid BCBA Certification Valid Illinois License as a Behavior Analyst Willing to supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTS) Completed 8-hour Supervision Training Preferred experience working with students with special needs with an educational focus Experience developing and implementing an FBA and BIP Proficient with technology and various apps/programs to efficiently collect and analyze data Ability to effectively prioritize and address multiple tasks at any given time Ability to problem solve the needs of students and staff in a solution focused manner Exceptional people skills; ability to facilitate crucial conversations with staff and parents REPORTS TO: Director of Special Services, Special Services Administrators JOB GOAL: To provide teachers, administrators and parents with behavior intervention strategies and techniques to enhance student academic performance and social success. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide comprehensive behavioral assessment and consultation services for students with severe or persistent behavioral challenges Conduct a functional behavior assessment (FBA) to assist in the understanding of the relationship between the student's behavior and the purpose of the behavior in relationship to environmental factors. Consult and collaborate with school based behavior teams to design, implement, train and evaluate formal Behavior Intervention Plans. Coaches in the development of behavior intervention plan (BIP) designed to outline specific prevention and response strategies for the identified behavior. The behavior analyst ensures that all elements of the BIP are humane, respectful, effective and cause the least amount of disruption to the school structure as possible. Use research based intervention to support learning curriculum and environment Provide collaborative consultation with moment to moment coaching Efficiently utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques, classroom management strategies, individual behavior intervention plan development, data collection techniques, discrete trial training, and strategies for positive behavior support Assist school staff in classroom setup, instructional methods and staff training. Support learning and facilitate opportunities for a student's integration into less restrictive settings Review data and programming regularly to identify areas for improvement and growth Provide professional development opportunities for certified and non-certified staff and participate in district level committees Participates in district level and county wide committees Collaborate with outside BCBAs and other therapists Provide CPI training for the district and maintain accurate records Consult with building and district administrators on matters relating to attendance, misconduct, and behavioral incidents and look for trends in order to assist schools in managing these issues in a proactive manner Collaborate with school teams and assist with strategic planning to ensure better student outcomes Use ongoing assessments to maintain a record of student progress Establish and maintain a deep understanding of SEL/SD theories and practice through personal professional development including conferences, seminars, workshops, and professional organizations including staying up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field Problem-solve individual cases as assigned by the special education administrators. This may include observation of student; consultation with staff, parents, administrators; working with the student, staff and parents; identifying appropriate strategies and tools to implement and provide professional development on data collection and analysis Analyze, maintain and report out on guidelines regarding time out and restraint. Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation Maintain high professional ethics and confidentiality Work in a collaborative and professional manner with all constituents Performs other tasks identified by building principals and district administrators. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: A. Employed for 180 days +/- 10 additional days for summer professional development activities. B. Employed as per conditions established by the board of education. EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated regularly by the Building Principals and the Director of Special Services using the Instructional Specialist form.
