Education Requirement Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certification Requirements ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment. Maintain certification as a condition of continuous employment. Essential Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork within healthcare environments.
