Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities: Provide and coordinate health care services to patients and their families Promote maintenance of health, prevention of illness and stability Provide care during acute and chronic phases of illness Guide and counsel individuals and families Referral patients to other health care providers as appropriate Record and update patient EMR in accordance with HIPAA and practice standards and procedures Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Qualifications: Current, certified NYS Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a family practice or Urgent Care setting is desired (not required) Previous experience working with Medent (EMR) is a plus Excellent working knowledge of chronic disease states and possess critical thinking skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Position RequirementsPhysician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Qualifications: Certified NYS Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license credential. Our care team will work towards ensuring that the patients receive the appropriate age-related preventative testing and treatment as well as the latest evidence-based treatment (proven and documented) for their individual medical condition(s).
