Candidates must have either ARRT or RCIS credentials and cath lab experience. Candidates must be able to scrub cases or scrub and monitor cath lab cases. Description: This position is for a cath lab opening. The radiologic technologist will be expected to scrub cardiac, electrophysiology, and peripheral procedures from Day 1. The unit consists of four rooms with a current staffing of eight full-time staff, and the optimal staffing is twelve full-time staff. Patient ratios are one patient per team of three to four staff members. The equipment used includes GE X-ray equipment, Impella, IABP, atherectomy, IVUS/OCT, FFR/RFR, and more. Charting is done using Maclab for cases and Meditech for facility records. Typical procedures performed include cardiac cath and peripheral angiograms, as well as electrophysiology procedures such as device placements, ablation, and Watchman procedures. Candidates with experience scrubbing interventional radiology and electrophysiology procedures are preferred. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and a team player. Call is required on alternating weekends, with approximately 14-15 days of call per month. Interested candidates should be aware that floating to other local facilities may be necessary for patient transport or turnover assistance. The dress code will include provided hospital scrubs.
