Lead Developer

Job Title: Lead Developer Location: Rockville, MD Duration: 6-12 Months Hybrid OnsiteJob Description: Must Haves: Strong back-end development experience with 8-9 years in Java. Full stack development experience with UI knowledge (React/Angular preferred). Hands-on expertise with Java 17 or later, including writing testable code using unit and integration tests. Expertise in Oracle and Postgres databases, including data persistence in Java using JPA/Hibernate. Proficiency in SQL queries. Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Jenkins, GitHub) and code quality. AWS expertise, including ECS/EC2, Security Groups, IAM roles, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions. Experience with event-based architecture and serverless functions. Excellent communication skills. Job Nice to Haves: Experience with Python, Amazon DocumentDB, AWS Cognito, and Spring Boot. Knowledge of Agentic AI and Bedrock. AWS certification. Experience with modern UI frameworks (Angular preferred). Enterprise-level experience.
