Join us as a Senior Firmware Development Engineer, where you’ll work on the forefront of secure firmware for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) servers. Your expertise will help us address foundational security challenges and improve cloud server capabilities. About Our Team Our dedicated team focuses on OCI's bare metal cloud offering, delivering customers enhanced control and performance while ensuring robust security measures. We design, implement, and validate firmware that forms the backbone of our trust chain, facilitating secure wiping, attestation, and provisioning of hardware in our infrastructure. Your Role In this position, you will develop secure firmware and system management technologies tailored for enterprise-level security. Collaborate with talented engineers to innovate and validate firmware solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to release. Key Responsibilities Innovate and enhance secure system management firmware and software, tailored for Oracle's unique requirements. Ensure your code remains secure, scalable, and maintainable. Engage in rapid prototyping, debugging, and testing across all development phases. What We’re Looking For Ideal candidates will possess: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant experience. Over 5 years of experience in firmware or software design, implementation, and maintenance using C/C++. A strong background in firmware development, debugging, validation, and deployment. Knowledge of embedded systems and networking/security protocols. Proficiency in scripting (Python, bash) and experience with an embedded Linux environment. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Preferred Qualifications A Master's degree in a relevant field. Experience with communications protocols and embedded firmware design. Proficient in using lab debug tools such as JTAG and oscilloscopes. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Experience in DevOps practices and CICD pipelines.
