Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech Job Details:• Work 4 x 9 hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM• 10 on-call shifts per month: 1 Friday per month, 6 Monday-Thursday calls per month, and 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month• No additional weekend requirements beyond call shifts• No float requirements• Handle 5 cases per day in a 2-room cardiac catheterization lab• Work with adult and geriatric patient population• Ceil blue scrubs provided by unit• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS, MD Board of Physicians certification• 2 years of experience required with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures• Must have experience with ASD closures, cardiac implant closure devices, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, percutaneous coronary interventions, and temporary pacemaker procedures• Experience with electrophysiology lab, interventional radiology and special procedures preferred• Must be proficient in accurate monitoring, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access site preparation, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulation, sterile field maintenance, and vascular closure systems• 1 prior travel assignment required• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract• Labs and drug screen appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions Facility:This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The facility maintains a 2-room cardiac cath lab handling approximately 5 cases per day, serving adult and geriatric patients.
