Job Title: Splunk SOAR DeveloperLocation: Jacksonville, FL ; Charlotte, NC ; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Jersey City, NJ Work Arrangement: 3 day in office with 2 day WFH Client Industry: Banking Duration: 12 -18 months Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday About the Role: This role is for a hands-on Splunk SOAR (formerly Phantom) Developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining security automation playbooks. The developer will use Python (and Java where needed) to automate incident response workflows, integrate third-party security tools via APIs, and support enterprise security operations. This is a development-focused role, not a Cyber Security Analyst or SOC position. Key Responsibilities: Hands-on experience with Splunk SOAR (formerly Phantom) Strong Python development skills for automation and playbook creation Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting SOAR playbooks Working knowledge of Splunk SIEM / Splunk Enterprise Security Experience integrating third-party tools using REST APIs Solid understanding of security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence concepts Ability to own the full lifecycle of SOAR automation (requirements, design, build, test, deploy, support) Experience working in enterprise security environments Proficiency with Git / version control Compensation Hourly Rate: 75$-80$ per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
