We are hiring for a CNC Mill Machinist./ppThe successful candidate will be detail oriented, dependable, and responsible for operating a variety of CNC equipment along with manual machines. The ideal candidate for the CNC Mill Operator position should have experience operating CNC and manual machines as well as be familiar with quality inspection tools. The Operator must be a team player, committed to delivering the best quality to our customers and maintain a clear work area managed to 5S Standards!/ppSpecific duties include, but are not limited to:/pulliOperate a variety of CNC turning and milling centers with Fanuc controls, including manual machines./liliAbility to read drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions./liliUnderstanding of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines is a plus./liliUse quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauge, and height gages./liliContinually inspects parts for high quality and records applicable information as required./liliRead and interpret work instruction./liliFollow safety procedures./liliKeep work area neat, clean, and organized./liliAbility to work independently and as a team member./li/ulpHigh school diploma or equivalent. Additional trade school education in machining preferred. Able to read and follow SOPs, labels, instructions, and blueprints. Previous manufacturing CNC machinist experience required (1-2 years a plus). Have machine shop/metal working skills. Be comfortable working with close tolerances (thousandths). Ability to setup your own jobs and run first part (training provided). Must also be familiar with various types of gauging and measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, height gauge, plug gauge, bore gauge etc. Able to perform quality inspections that will produce parts that conform to required specifications of the blueprint.
