Your Role and Responsibilities We are in search of a results-driven Partner Marketing Strategist to catalyze pipeline and revenue growth for Apptio and IBM through impactful partner marketing initiatives across the Americas. If you have a deep understanding of the partner ecosystem landscape—including GSIs, channel partners, MSPs, hyperscalers, ISVs, VADs, and VARs—and can execute marketing programs that drive business outcomes, we want to hear from you! This is a hands-on, builder role where you will translate strategy into execution and take ownership of partner programs from beginning to end. Lead and implement partner marketing initiatives that enhance pipeline creation and revenue for Apptio/IBM across various partner segments. Collaborate closely with sales, ecosystem, product, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on GTM priorities and execution. Develop and manage comprehensive partner programs, including demand generation, field activations, events, partner enablement, and marketplace initiatives. Act as the primary marketing contact for assigned partners, overseeing planning, execution, and follow-through end to end. Plan, manage, and optimize marketing development funds (MDF) in partnership with sales and ecosystem teams to support robust partner programs that drive revenue growth. Monitor, report, and enhance partner marketing performance with a focus on pipeline influence, sourced opportunities, and revenue impact. Thrive in a matrixed environment, navigating ambiguity with decisiveness and a proactive approach. Required Technical and Professional Expertise 5+ years of B2B marketing experience with a demonstrated ability in partner, ecosystem, or channel marketing. Proven success in driving pipeline and revenue through partner-led marketing initiatives. Strong knowledge of enterprise partner ecosystems, including GSIs, hyperscalers, MSPs, ISVs, VADs, and VARs. Experience collaborating across functions with sales, ecosystem, product, and operations teams. Hands-on experience managing partner marketing budgets, including MDF allocations. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Exceptional collaborator capable of influencing without direct authority. Proactive and hands-on attitude with a strong drive to accomplish goals. Demonstrated success in partnering effectively with various teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
