Because at UKG, your work matters—and so do you. About the Team: UKG's Public Sector Sales team is looking for a Senior Account Executive specializing in Higher Education sales. Our collaborative team is dedicated to aligning customer goals with our innovative solutions. This role is crucial for maximizing sales revenue and exceeding profitability targets. About the Role: This Senior Account Executive will focus on acquiring new university and college accounts, aiming to modernize their HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time, and Scheduling processes through UKG's HCM SaaS offerings. Success in this role requires strong consultative selling skills to thoroughly understand customer needs and recommend appropriate UKG solutions. Primary Responsibilities: Consistently exceed sales quotas. Demonstrated success in selling HRMS/Payroll solutions to complex organizations. Experience primarily as an Account Executive (Hunter) with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our solutions, technology, and capabilities to address customer challenges and support their business goals. Present HCM products and services to decision-makers and end-users within your assigned territory. Identify sales opportunities and craft tailored sales and marketing proposals based on customer needs. Stay knowledgeable about the HCM/SaaS industry, including competitors and market trends. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills. Maintain awareness of product advancements and incorporate them into presentations for end-users. Stay organized and adept at utilizing various prospecting strategies. About You: Basic Qualifications: 3-5 years of proven success in selling ERP or HCM/Payroll solutions. Experience with state and local sales. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with higher education software. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Familiarity with the business landscape in higher education institutions. Strong negotiation skills and effective written and verbal communication. Exceptional problem-solving abilities. Strong work ethic, operating with integrity and commitment. BA/BS or equivalent. Travel: Up to 50% required. Pay Transparency: The base salary for this position is $110,000 to $112,500 annually, with significant potential for performance-based incentive compensation. The final base pay may vary based on skills, experience, job knowledge, and work location.
