The Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing Turner Padget's enterprise infrastructure across multiple locations, ensuring network connectivity, secure access, and efficient operations for Turner Padget systems and employees.Job Description: Provide advanced network administration and troubleshooting for ISP, MPLS, SD-WAN and internal wired and wireless infrastructure, resolving connectivity and performance issuesConfigure, monitor, and troubleshoot network firewalls, modems, routers, and switchesSupport and maintain network closets, including patching, cabling, and labeling racks and switchesCreate and maintain office network mapsUtilize DNS, DHCP and VLANs to ensure reliable network segmentation, security, and quality of service Support secure remote access solutions, including VPN provisioning, certificate‑based authentication, and access control enforcementWork with Active Directory and Group Policy to manage user accounts, policies, and domain servicesStrategically plan network and hardware maintenance windows, accounting for the needs and schedules of company employeesEnsure compliance with current industry security standardsProvide general Tier II and III technical support to attorneys and staffUp to 25% travel - typically same day only - to remote offices within South Carolina, Augusta GA, and Charlotte NCTeam Requirements: Candidate must be able to work independently, involving, but not limited to: Following and creating technical documentationEvaluating emerging network security trendsCompleting software deployments during maintenance windows Support end users through creative solutions to everyday impedimentsCoordinate with vendors in installing, upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting networkRecognize that the candidate's customers are the attorneys and staff of the law firm, and to be able to adapt according to their needsBe personable, pleasant, and clear in speaking to end users and business project owners when affirming business practices or assisting with technical issues Technical Requirements: Bachelor's degree or 3 years work-related experienceCCNA/CCNP CertificationExperience with Cisco Catalyst and Meraki platformsExperience with Sophos FirewallsExperience with Cisco Unified Communications a plusExperience supporting multi‑site environments and legal‑industry applications is preferred.Proven analytical and problem-solving techniquesStrong written and oral communication skills Turner, Padget, Graham & Laney is committed to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce, including attorneys and support staff, and conducting business with diverse clients.The firm broadly views diversity as all differences that make us unique and special-life and work experiences, culture and beliefs, race, color, national origin, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, marital status, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, education, military service, differing abilities, and other distinguishing characteristics and aspects of life.
