Travel OT Contract Details Location: Burlingame, CA (San Francisco Bay Area) Facility Type: Acute care hospital in Burlingame, CA Employment Type: Travel contract / temporary assignment Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,210-$2,370 per week (estimated) Setting: Acute care hospital - Occupational Therapy (Behavioral Health specialty) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 03/09/2026 End Date: 06/08/2026 Schedule: Day shift, Tuesday-Saturday Shift Duration: 8-hour days (5x8s) Hours per Week: 40 Charting/EMR: Epic (charting system experience required) Patient Populations: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Occupational Therapist (OT) Requirements Active California Occupational Therapist license (required at time of submission) BLS (AHA) required and must be in hand at time of submission 2+ years of recent, relevant Occupational Therapy experience (acute care/inpatient experience strongly preferred) Behavioral health OT experience is required (profile must clearly reflect this experience) Ability to complete onboarding requirements promptly, including lab work within 3-5 days of signing Ability to provide a 7-year work history for verification as part of compliance Key Responsibilities (Acute Care & Behavioral Health OT) Evaluate patients' functional status and occupational performance to identify needs and establish measurable goals Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs, safety, and overall independence Provide therapeutic interventions supporting restoration of vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment plans and discharge recommendations Document evaluations, progress notes, and care plans accurately and efficiently in the facility's EMR Support patients with behavioral health needs using trauma-informed, patient-centered approaches Apply now to join a high-impact travel OT assignment in Burlingame, CA and make a meaningful difference in acute care behavioral health.
