AMG, Inc. is seeking an experienced Laser/Brake Operator to join our 2nd shift fabrication team. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently operating laser cutting machine and press brake to produce precision-fabricated parts according to engineering drawings and production requirements. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting equipment and press brakes. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions. Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job. Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality. Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work area following company safety practices. Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet production goals. Document work performed in accordance with company standards. RequirementsQualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of experience operating laser cutting and/or press brake equipment in a manufacturing environment. Strong ability to read blueprints and measure accurately. Familiarity with CNC controls and basic programming adjustments. Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Reliable attendance and willingness to work 2nd shift. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Amada, Trumpf, or similar equipment. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles. Strong troubleshooting skills. Must be 18 years of age and a U. S. Citizen.
