A Day in the Life As a Team Leader Assistant, you will support a retail office during the busy tax season, ensuring we exceed client expectations while guiding daily operational activities. Your flexible part-time schedule begins in late fall, transitioning to full-time from January through April. What We Value Prior experience supervising or managing a team. A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your Responsibilities Assist the Multi-Unit Team Leader as an onsite contact for both associates and clients, ensuring high-quality service that highlights the value of H&R Block. Ensure all tax office associates are delivering an outstanding client service experience, addressing any escalations to the Multi-Unit Team Leader or District General Manager when necessary. Act as the go-to person for any escalated client service issues at the office. Manage client scheduling and resolve conflicts, escalating as needed. Lead from the front desk, engaging with clients and enhancing their overall experience. Oversee daily activities, guaranteeing staff schedules and the timely completion of tasks while maintaining quality standards and meeting objectives. Conduct daily huddles to relay crucial information to office associates. Your Qualifications Experience in customer service or a similar role. Strong organizational skills, adept at managing day-to-day office operations. Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and comfortable with computer use. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work 40 hours a week, adapting to business needs.
