W. Hastings Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join the Respiratory Therapy team on a contract basis. The Respiratory Therapist will assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.  Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care plans. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support. Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and related respiratory equipment. Perform diagnostic testing such as arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests, and pulse oximetry. Respond to emergency situations including code blue and rapid response calls. Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies. Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential. Current state licensure (as applicable). BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required). ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred. Minimum 06 months of recent clinical respiratory therapy experience (acute care preferred). 12hr night shifts, 7p-7a NBRC required Oklahoma Resp License required BLS, ACLS, PALS required- AHA NRP required Cerner Charting Min 6 months of experience req. Must have peds exp. Neonates to adults, acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems   12hr night shifts, 7p-7aNBRC requiredOklahoma Resp License requiredBLS, ACLS, PALS required- AHANRP requiredCerner ChartingMin 6 months of experience req.
