In this pivotal role, you will take the lead in preparing and reviewing financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, guaranteeing compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant standards. You will also coordinate statutory financial reports for regulatory submissions, analyze financial results for meaningful insights, and resolve any discrepancies. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring accuracy in reporting reinsurance transactions, particularly concerning life reinsurance contracts. As part of your duties, you will manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, create analytical internal management reports, and deliver strategic financial insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with strong preference given to candidates with professional certifications such as CPA or CFA. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting is required, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity—preferably within the reinsurance or insurance industry. Proficiency in IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory reporting standards is essential. We are looking for individuals with strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, along with advanced proficiency in finance systems and reporting tools. Experience with life reinsurance contracts and transactions is highly desirable.
