Job Full Description Job Title: Machine Technician Pay Rate: Up to $19.00/hour Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday | Overtime as needed Position Overview: Sunrider is seeking dependable Machine Technicians to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities: Observe mechanical devices in operation to identify causes of equipment issues Listen for unusual sounds to detect mechanical malfunctions Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections Inspect used parts to determine dimensional changes or wear Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments Repair or replace defective components Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and utilities Install functional and structural parts in machinery Start and test devices to ensure proper performance Set up and operate equipment as needed Requirements: Previous experience in machine maintenance or a manufacturing environment preferred Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment Ability to stand, bend, and walk for an 8-hour shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift Must be able to work overtime as needed Strong attention to safety and detail Ellis County, TX 3201 138 North Highway 77 Waxahachie, TX 75165
