As an Truck Mechanic, you will assist our commerical customers by diagnosing and repairing truck and trailer issues, performance, and function.As an Truck Mechanic, you must have an in-depth understanding of all vehicle systems and components. You will also be responsible for maintaining repair shop equipment, preparing repair worksheets, and promote a team environment.The ideal candidate is able to explain vehicle issues clearly and concisely and complete timely workorders.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair trucks and trailers dispatched to our repair facilityCarry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks, diagnostic and troubleshooting, engine and mechanical knowledgeConduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakesMaintain accurate repair shop records and paperworkEnsure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat businessQualificationsMinimum of 3 years experience as a truck mechanic requiredHigh school diploma or GED is requiredComply with company policies and proceduresNYS Inspection License (preferred or needed within 3 months of employment)Must be able to lift at least 50 poundsClean background and driving historyDrug tests required
